In 2013 I will........

1. Focus more on my relationship with God.
2. Start going to church more regularly and become more involved, even if that means finding a new church where we feel more connected.
3. Give up pop!
4. Start paying on all medical debt
5. Get a new job, making more money
6. Exercise 3 days a week
7. Pay down credit card debt
8. Start a blog- already done!!!
9. Become Foster Parents!!! <----- super excited about this one!

There you have it, my list of changes to be made this year.

Leading up to the big changes, I'm wearing my comfy pj's and watching movies with my parents and hubby.

What are you doing tonight?

Do you have any resolutions?

Tomorrow is a NEW YEAR Y'all!!!

The New Year is one of my very favorite times of all.
I love New Year's Resolutions. Now, I am a typical person in that I don't usually complete all of them. However, every year around Thanksgiving I start dreaming, listing, planning, and talking non stop about all of the wonderful things that I am sure to accomplish in the next year.

Here are a few of my resolutions from 2012:
See a fertility specialist and do everything in my power to get pregnant. I actually completed this one. Now, this fertility journey obviously did not end the way that I had planned (we have no kids, nor am I pregnant). God has a different plan for us and that is in itself a whole post.
I also resolved to go back to school and start a career. I am now a certified nurse aide, and I love my field of work.

Of course there are resolutions that I did not complete like, lose 80lbs, pay off all of my debt, and win the lottery......... Well there is always next year!

I have a whole list of new resolutions for 2013 that I just know will all go smoothly.  Ha!

I love the feeling of a clean slate, new possibilities, and renewed hope.
Also, this will be the first year in 6 that my resolution list will not include, getting pregnant. That my friends is a burden that only God himself could have taken off of my heart, and I am so thankful that he did.

I will be back later to make my official 2013 New Year's Resolutions list.

Happy New Year Y'all!!

Why "Two Dogs Long One Dog High"?

There are two reasons for why I titled my blog like I did.

1. Two dogs long and one dog high, is the name that my beloved grandpa had for weenie dogs. He was a great influence on my life, so it is a tribute to the great man that he was, and the unique dialog in which he spoke. He was a country man, and had many unique saying for every day things.

2. I LOVE weenie dogs, so much in fact that I own three of them. They are my babies and their names are: Bonnie, Clyde, and Scruffy. I am sure that the more that I write on this blog, the better you will get to know these three scoundrels. If I knew how to include a picture right now, I would. However, that will have to wait until I figure out how, or my lovely sister in law teaches me.

I may be back later today, because you know how it goes with a new toy.

First Post Ever!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone!
This is my very first blog post ever. I'm not sure what I will blog about or how often it will happen. I have always wanted a blog, so here I am.
I will come back later to write an introduction. For now I am off to play with my new computer.
